Things I feel like saying

...reccs
I can't understand why women get pissed off at men for leaving the seat up. I mean... as annoying as it is for me to have to put it down when I go pee, HE has to put it UP after ME... What's the diff?
I've heard people say that since men use the seat down as well, then 3/4 of the time it's down so they should leave it down all the time. Hmm... nobody poos as frequently as they pee, right? I would say men need the seat down about 10% of the times they use the toilet. Still not enought to justify having the seat down at ALL times.
And then some women say to men: "YOU try getting up in the middle of the night, half asleep and having to remember to put the seat down...". So... if men get up in the middle of the night it's alright for them to remember to put the seat up? Or are we willing to have them pee with the seat down? Ewww...

I saw a great film - "Sliding Doors" with Gwyneth Paltrow (sp?).
You know how you sometimes say... oh if only I had done this differently... If only I had gone there instead of there, etc etc... Well... this movie sets you thinking about that.
I give it a 10. The 'other woman' (dunno who she is) is an bad actress, though.

I read this book, by Wally Lamb, 'She's come undone'. The critiques loved it. A lot of them emphasized how amazing it was that the author was male, since it totally seems as if the book were written by a woman. But me, I knew it was written by a guy.
The book's heroine has sex for the first time, and enjoys it. I think she even comes. Imagine that.
I want men to know something - the first time for a woman HURTS. As do quite a few of the following times. The muscles down there just aren't 'open' enough. When it still hurt me after the first time, I thought I was weird - heck, you see girls in movies having the time of their lives their first time. Nobody every tells you it hurts. But when I asked around, all my girlfriends told me the first times (and I'm not talking about first 2 or 3 times, either!) hurt like hell. Only they were too embarrassed to tell their mates so they bore it in silence. One thing I can say for myself, I do NOT bear pain in silence <g>. So what's this conspiracy, girls? It hurts and it's not our fault. Tell him to go slower. Use lubrication. Don't suffer in silence. Oh and don't worry, the pain stops after a while and it becomes fun :)

While I'm on this topic - another idea I got from movies and books, was that sex was easy and fun. That you came just from being penetrated. But girls... we know it's not that way, right? We have to have our clitoris worked up, no? Ok, Ok, there's that mythological G Spot. Well, good for you women who have found it, but most of us haven't. And you GUYS should know that. But most important, we women should know that too. I remember feeling CHEATED when I found out sex wasn't what it looked like in the movies - that you had to work hard on it (oh and then it's fun, I'll grant you that). I think it's the best kept secret in the business. I once went into a sex store and listened while the nice (male) owner explained to two women there that it was OK that they didn't come without clitoral excitation. Boy were they surprised. And RELIEVED!. Grrr... Hollywood...

Why is it that everyone assumes that if a person is single, it is because s/he cannot find a partner? Why can't people accept that some people just *like* being on their own. I for one think that as long as I have my girl friends, I do not need a boyfriend. I have been saying this all along, also during my 3 year relationship with Trevor.
I guess the real question is why do I care what people think...

Some of the best things in life:
Taking a cold shower when you've just come home all sticky from the 90% humidity outside.
Crawling into a nice clean bed (or just a bed) after a looooong day.
A nice big poo (sorry, but it IS good).
A swig of diet coke (beer for some) when you're dying of thirst

Who said everything fun in life was either expensive, fattening or illegal?
